One example of its use is in cooling tower water treatment. Hybrisan WT provides microbe and algae treatment and protection in all cooling water applications, from open recirculating towers to closed loop and air conditioning systems.
Hybrisan WT can be used in these systems without expensive employee protection equipment (PPE). Its non-corrosive and environmentally friendly credentials mean there is no need to install special handling equipment or incur additional expensive treatment costs, before discharge to the waste water system. This brings the benefits of prolonged system life, reduced microbial contamination and reduction in lifetime treatment costs.
Hybrisan WT is also being successfully used in furnace applications where it removes extensive biofilm build-up and bacterial contamination in die cooling water systems.

The medical industry presents a range of sterilisation challenges, particularly where the control of microbial cultivation could mean the difference between life and death. Hybrisan WT generates an incredibly efficient anti-microbial attack on microbial organisms and infectious pathogens.
Hybrisan WT is based on a hydrophobic polymer, which forces itself through any moisture, onto any available surface establishing a robust anti-microbial monomolecular polymer layer. The effects of this action are to disrupt established biofilm colonies and to prevent re-colonisation by the residual protection of the polymer coating. This becomes a potent barrier to cross contamination and infection. The types of applications the product could be used for include:
